AED stands for “Automatic External Defibrillator”.
I suppose it’s somehow a formal and specific term, but as the name suggests, AED is “a device that automatically removes fibrillation”.

Our Services – Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
As written in the previous writing, there are several types of AEDs, and the price varies depending on each model.
This time, we will take one of the AEDs we are providing for a further example.
The price of an AED set is 2900 USD.
This set contains everything you need, such as 02 electrode pads, battery, and a response kit, so you can use the AED as soon as you purchase it.
Our AEDs have a 5-year warranty period for the body, therefore even if there is a breakdown during the 5-year period, we will be in charge of the cost.
As I wrote above, the warranty period for the main body of the AED we handle is 5 years.
Regarding a running cost during 5 years, it covers the exchange cost of the electrode pad and the battery.
The electrode pad is required to be replaced every 20 months and the battery every 40 months.
It means the electrode pad needs to be replaced twice and the battery is required once during the 5-year warranty period.
In addition, the electrode pads price for 02 sets is 260 USD (including 01 spare set) and the battery cost is 580 USD.
As the cost for 02 sets of the electrode pads and battery to be replaced in 5 years is 1100 USD.
The total set price is 4000 USD.
